Fluxys is an independent Belgian infrastructure group, specialized in natural gas transmission and storage. To support its goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, Fluxys aimed to boost digital agility, accelerate innovation, and reduce reliance on traditional tools.

Fluxys partnered with Appfie to find a simpler way to innovate, aiming to empower their team and eliminate shadow IT.

Fluxys identified key objectives to drive innovation:

  • Minimize reliance on legacy tools like Access and Excel
  • Remove shadow IT and foster creativity with low-code/no-code solutions

Appfie launched a structured Low Code No Code program using Power Platform, creating a community of Citizen Developers with support from a dedicated Center of Excellence.

This CoE team ensures best practices and mentoring, while Asset Worx, a Power Platform solution integrated with SAP, manages critical assets for Fluxys, from pipes to land.
